Jessie
Rose is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatical Academy in
New York City. While there she studied under Dr. Roxanne Stuart and
received her certification in stage combat. After graduation Jessie
returned home to New Braunfels, Tx. She got her
start as an acting coach teaching a duet class
for fifth graders. After joining the Playhouse family and teaching
classes for 4 years, Jessie has over 100 hundred students (children
and adults) in classes. Her classes were voted 2nd Best
Acting classes in San Antonio by the SA Current in 2007. Jessie has
also directed and starred in shows. She directed, “Children's
Letters to God”, and Sleeping Beauty . Some of her favorite roles
are, Sister Robert Anne in 'Nunsense Country Jamboree', Millie in
'Hang Em High in the Selma Sky, Lana Mae in 'Honky Tonk Laundry,and
she played herself along side her husband, father and great friend
in her favorite show, “The Honky Tonk Angel and her Cowboy.”
Voted Best Musical Act by The SA Current for 2007. Jessie would like
to thank her family here at The Playhouse and her cute husband Chris
for all of their support. And a huge thanks to my family for dealing
with a drama queen the last 26 years. Lastly, to my son Sawyer who
makes life better everyday.
